Belgian formateur De Wever resigns role, forming government seems far away
Bart De Wever, formateur of the new Belgian government, has announced his resignation from his role following the failure of formation talks, according to Belgian media. The Flemish parties of different persuasions could not agree, particularly on the surplus value tax, and now they are looking at other possible coalitions and mediators.
