New climate lawsuit, now against ING: influence extends beyond one company
The lawsuit against Shell caused a breakthrough on the subject of sustainability at the highest level, making companies more cautious but also daring to take bolder steps to distinguish themselves from their competitors. Now ING is also being sued by Milieudefensie, with the risk for all major banks that in the future they too could be dragged into court.
