Mayor forces prime minister to leave Turret, otherwise tons of fine per week
Prime Minister Schoof and officials must leave the Binnenhof within four weeks because of fire danger. Mayor Van Zanen has warned that otherwise a fine of 100,000 euros per week will be imposed. The municipality of The Hague refuses to grant a longer delay and suitable alternative workplaces for the prime minister and his officials are now being sought.
