Wieteke van Dort, Indian actress known as Deft Lady and Tante Lien, died
Beloved Dutch actress and singer, Wieteke van Dort, who is best known for her iconic character Tante Lien and her contributions to Dutch-Indonesian culture, has passed away at the age of 81 in her home in The Hague. Her passing comes only one week after the death of her beloved husband, with whom she was married for 55 years, and two months after she was diagnosed with advanced cancer.
