Discriminatory algorithms big problem at agencies, warns watchdog
Director of the Dutch privacy watchdog, Aleid Wolfsen, argues that governments must have a valid reason for using algorithms to detect fraud and calls for more transparency in their use. He also acknowledges the need for awareness and suggests increasing the AP's personnel to address criticism of slow response to citizen complaints.
