Restaurants perceive new restrictions on bringing in chefs from Asia as hindering their craftsmanship, as Thai cuisine is difficult for Dutch chefs to learn. Outgoing Minister Van Gennip, however, stresses that it is still possible to bring in foreign chefs, provided the right conditions are met.
