Hearings with ministers for first time, critics fear 'circus'
New ministers led by Prime Minister Schoof must first struggle through a hearing in the House of Representatives prior to their appointment, an initiative by D66 to create more transparency. Despite skepticism and doubts from other parties, it might be useful for the Netherlands to see what kind of people come to the helm and how they handle tough questions.
