Aboard the 'old' submarine: diesel engines and dial telephones
The Sea Lion, one of the old submarines used for espionage missions and counter-piracy, is due for replacement after 36 years of faithful service. The new submarines will be quieter, able to stay underwater longer and better equipped with modern sensors and communication systems.
