Less communication in prison for members of organized crime
The Netherlands is taking tougher measures against organized crime in prisons, including more restrictions on communication and surveillance during lawyer visits. These measures, proposed by Minister Weerwind and largely supported by the House of Representatives, are intended to protect security and the democratic rule of law, despite criticism from the legal profession.
