Concerns over abolishing air alarm: 'Incomprehensible and irresponsible'
Minister Yesilgöz wants to abolish the air alert and replace it with NL-Alert, but a number of security regions are not happy with this because of the higher risks in certain areas and the vulnerability of the telephone system. They believe the siren should definitely continue to exist alongside NL-Alert for better communication during emergencies.
