Vos opens cycling season with win in Omloop by beating favorite Kopecky
Marianne Vos wins the opening race of the season, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, in her first participation. The 36-year-old rider from the Visma - Lease a Bike team beat world champion Lotte Kopecky in the sprint, with strong performances from Shirin van Anrooij and Elisa Longo Borghini as well.
