GPs shocked by hack patient data: 'We were not informed'
Doctors are expressing alarm as the NOS reveals that their patients' personal information has been hacked and published on the darkweb by hackers, with more than 53,000 people and over 1100 health care providers affected. The affected doctors and their patients are frustrated and concerned as they have not been informed by the lab, Clinical Diagnostics, and the Dutch Public Health Service warns women to be alert for potential phishing scams and identity theft.
