Mountain hikers increasingly in trouble: 'Only had a jar of peanut butter'
From beautiful social media pictures to dangerous consequences: popular hiking destinations in the Alps are seeing a rise in mountain rescue incidents, as inexperienced and ill-prepared hikers attempt challenging treks. The Dutch Climbing and Mountaineering Association warns young adults drawn to these picturesque views to take proper precautions or risk needing expensive rescue services.
