Germany and US also for Rutte as NATO chief, Romania comes up with counter-candidate


Rutte's chances of becoming the new NATO Secretary-General are increasing as Germany and the United States lend their support, but it's not a done deal yet as Romania announces a counter-candidate and some member states have yet to express a preference. The decision could be made as early as April 4th during the NATO's 75th anniversary meeting of Foreign Ministers.
