Russia again hands over 1,200 fallen soldiers to Ukraine
Dozens of Ukrainian war victims have been repatriated from Russia in one of the largest exchanges since the invasion in 2022, with the Ukrainian government calling it a significant and delicate process that will bring closure to families. So far, Turkey has facilitated three exchanges of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine, with no official count on the number of prisoners involved.
