More than 600 reported dead after outbreak of violence in northwest Syria
The death toll of the violent clashes in northwest Syria has risen to over 600, with mostly Alawite victims and reports of massacres and executions. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has been following the conflict through informants and reports continued fighting between government troops and rebel groups.
