Amsterdam's last carnival society quits: 'Evening with a raw edge'
The only remaining carnival association in Amsterdam, d'Osseknarren from Osdorp, held their final celebration after 53 years due to financial struggles, leaving their 135 members without a carnival home in the city. Despite not fitting in, the association's treasurer, Josje Stroethoff, insists they always made it a great party.
