CO2 standards tightened, big task for car and truck manufacturers
Europeans are facing a major challenge to reduce carbon emissions from cars and trucks by 43% by 2030. However, with reduced subsidies and a lack of charging infrastructure, the target may be difficult to achieve according to the European car and truck manufacturers. Despite this, major companies like Mercedes and DAF are already producing electric trucks with a range of nearly 500km, and there is a push for more emission-free vehicles on the roads.
