Apple lowers rates for app builders in EU, under pressure from new rules
Apple is lowering app fees for EU developers, as long as they agree to new terms and conditions, to comply with new EU legislation; this may also lead to cheaper purchases for consumers and the possibility of alternative app stores for Apple devices. Other tech giants, including Meta and Google, are also making changes to comply with the new laws, but it remains unclear if these changes will satisfy the European Commission.
