European Court of Auditors: car emissions not down, more commitment to electric cars
EU's goal to reduce CO2 emissions is in jeopardy due to a lack of electric vehicles and infrastructure, as most cars still emit as much CO2 as 12 years ago. With only electric cars contributing to a decrease in emissions, the challenge of transitioning the EU's car fleet to solely electric vehicles remains significant.
