Dam to Dam Run aborted, last part of runners not starting again
The Dam tot Damloop, the popular running event between Amsterdam and Zaandam, has been halted due to the heat. Several measures, such as more water stations and staggered start times, were not enough to ensure the safety of the participants, so the last two start groups were not allowed to run.
