Gazans stuck in East Jerusalem: 'Even if I have to walk, I want to go back'

The heartbreaking story of Eman Al Sabagh, a Palestinian woman trapped in occupied East Jerusalem's Augusta Victoria hospital since 7 October 2023. Her 12-year-old daughter, who was receiving treatment for brain cancer, passed away while her husband and youngest daughter were stuck in Gaza due to restrictions by Israeli authorities. Al Sabagh is just one of 40 patients and 41 accompanying relatives who are unable to return to Gaza and are living in constant worry about their families back home.
