CO2 from industry captured and stored under North Sea

By 2030, the Netherlands must emit 55% less CO2, and in order to achieve this goal, work will now be done for the first time on capturing and storing CO2 from companies in the Port of Rotterdam, starting with a project called Porthos in which CO2 will be stored in an empty gas field under the North Sea.
